Cherrybomb Trailer

Two guys. One girl. Game on. This is a wonderful trailer for Easter, it's fast-paced and quite amusing to watch. Cherrybomb is a British coming-of-age film starring Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in Harry Potter), Robert Sheehan (Nathan on 'Misfits') and Kimberley Nixon (Wild Child, Easy Virtue). We actually featured an early promo trailer for this almost a year ago to the day (give or take about two days). Although I don't think this looks amazing, it looks like your standard coming-of-age indie flick and I thought it looked good enough to feature today. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm definitely still interested in checking it out. Have fun!

Watch the first official trailer for Cherrybomb:

Cherrybomb follows three teenagers Luke, Malachy, and Michelle as they embark on a wild weekend of drinking, drugs, shop-lifting and stealing cars. But what starts out as a game quickly spins out of control.

Cherrybomb was co-directed by first-time filmmakers Lisa Barros D'Sa and Glenn Leyburn. The screenplay was written by newcomer Daragh Carville, of only a film called Middletown previously. This first premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival last year and also went on to play at the Dublin, Belfast, and LA Film Festivals last year. It was eventually picked up by Little Film Company for US distribution. However, we're not sure when this will arrive in US theaters at all, so stay tuned for any updates if you're interested.
