Though obviously you come here for movie news, there's a good chance you didn't miss out on the big feud and rallies that ensued after NBC threw a wrench in the spokes of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and gave the late night time slot and ultimately the trademark talk show back to enemy of the comedy state, Jay Leno (yes, we're Team Coco). Well as part of the closing deals to end this feud, Conan isn't allowed to appear on TV until September, but that's not stopping him from launching a comedy tour across the country and as Deadline reports, O'Brien plans to shoot a feature length documentary to chronicle the live tour.
The tour, which is spitefully and hilariously called 'The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour' will be 'a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence.' Coco will be hitting 30 cities around the country from April 12 through June 14 (you can see the entire list of cities on the tour's official website), but tickets went remarkably fast so if you're even thinking about trying to check out the show, eBay and Craigslist will probably be your best bet. In the meantime, there will surely be updates on the tour and some backstage photos on Coco's recently established Twitter page. Personally I can't wait to see the fan response and outpouring of love for Conan O'Brien. He is a class act through and through.
