With Iron Man 2 inching closer to its release next month director Jon Favreau is already hard at work on the Platinum Comics series Cowboys & Aliens. He's already roped in Daniel Craig and even added Olivia Wilde into the mix, but now the cast has the potential to get even better as Latino Review claims Harrison Ford may strap on some boots. Last week they heard Ford was 'about to join a huge comic book movie to be directed by a director coming off a soon to be released huge comic book movie.' Cowboys & Aliens seems to be the right fit, but then came this tweet: 'Some very cool Cowboys & Aliens casting news coming soon.'
These two bits of information coming together at the same time seems too coincidental for this not to come to fruition, but just to be safe, take this with a grain of salt for the time being. After all Harrison Ford isn't exactly the kind of actor to take on any project under the sun. Still, if this casting rumor is indeed based in fact, it would be great to see Harrison Ford kick some alien ass in the Old West. Of course the last time Ford had encounters with aliens, there were more than a fair share of complaints (personally I think Crystal Skull had its flaws but was ultimately mostly satisfactory).
